Performing at Amplifier Bar for the Tomas Ford album launch, Boys Boys Boys! are never short on energy. Their electro cheerleading style with on-stage choreography always puts a smile on the audiences face.

Here’s a couple little updates that may be irrelevant to your interests!

Facebook Connect is back with a vengeance.
It was down for a short while but is now both cleaner and easier to use. Wanna know how? WELL! I’m glad you asked. Since it’s only used for leaving comments, you’ll only see it on my blog posts.

It can be found at the top of the sidebar (just underneath the search bar) by hitting ‘Log In’

or at the bottom of a post, simply by clicking ‘Login with Facebook’

If you’re not logging in with Facebook, just click ‘Log In’ and you’ll have another option. It also remembers you when you come back, which is my favourite part.

‘Edit Profile’? What is that? AH! I’m glad you asked. Well, when you first log in with Facebook, it grabs some of your information like your name, to display it on the comments. Your ‘Profile’ is where you can change that if you want. Just take a look next time you leave a comment!

What else is new?

Sharing.
At the bottom of each blog post, just above the comment login, you’ll notice a bar containing some links for sharing. I’m glad to say a few people have already been doing this!

Both Facebook and Google Plus allow you to add a message before you share the link:

Sharing with Twitter allows you to customise the tweet before you send it in a separate window. The orange box to the right, ‘Share’, also allows you to send the post in Email, Reddit, Digg or over 300 other sharing sites (I had no idea that many existed!).

‘Rekoil’ Logo

Here’s a mockup of a logo for 16 year-old dubstep producer ‘Rekoil’. I came across one of his tracks not so long ago and it was brilliant. Great things to come from this kid I am certain.

If you’re into dubstep, have a listen to the track. This was made using the font “Delinquente”

A New Year

Well, 2012 is here! This is what I have in mind for Shapeshift Creative.

My business grew 140% last year. I am hoping to double that again this year. I will be working hard on different marketing strategies and networking in general, so look out for me on facebook, twitter, tumblr and possibly google plus (depending how that develops throughout the year).

I am planning on segregating my personal photography and pursuits from the business aspect of Shapeshift Creative, however that said I am also planning on releasing a photo book or holding an exhibition, which will be personally driven and probably work as a great advertising tool for Shapeshift Creative.

I have given up on my photo-a-day (365) project, and instead I will be trying to do a different themed project each month. For january, I have decided to take a look at product packaging and rework existing designs into new, minimalist designs. This will encourage creativity and won’t be too time consuming. Keep an eye out for that.

I will be making a big push back into live music photography this year as well, possibly driving my existing design workload into poster or artwork designs, and developing more creative websites for artists.

I’ll start the year by posting up a few pictures from D’Entrecasteaux National Park where I was camping over the weekend
